Still struggling
with CPAP?
We’re developing a new approach to PAP therapy, with a focus on people who struggle with comfort or still feel unrefreshed. Join our research registry to hear about future studies.

Rhythm is a sleep science lab that is focused on finding a better treatment to Sleep Apnea through novel scientific research.
Understanding the whole picture
A closer look at OSA.
Today, CPAP machines are uncomfortable and fail to provide relief to most people that use them. This is because they are reactive. Reactive machines wait till you have a big apnea or hypopnea before responding by increasing pressures dramatically. The reactive nature of these machines means that the pressure stays too low leading to ineffective therapy, or too high, leading to discomfort.
Rhythm is building a machine that is proactive - designed to detect subtle respiratory changes during sleep and resolve issues before they become big. Stay tuned to know more.
The references below address CPAP adherence—how consistently therapy is used—which is different from symptom relief. They do not evaluate Rhythm’s investigational therapy.

Join the Rhythm Trial Registry
- The trial registry is an email list of volunteers interested in hearing about future studies. Joining does not constitute access to a study.
- If you have used CPAP before or use CPAP currently, you would be a great fit for this
- When new trials are started, our research team will use the registry to recruit fitting participants via email
What drives us
We are working on this because we have sleep apnea and are tired of the state of care and treatment. We've tried every solution from CPAP, BiPAP, ASV to surgeries and found that the amount of relief was minimal. Our aim at Rhythm is to build a treatment that we can see ourselves using every day and the only way to do this is to do new science.
